Below is an explanation of all settings available for each class.
Level / Step Settings
Here you can choose between different preset templates.
When a template is selected, the advanced settings cannot be changed.
These settings are applied when you press Save.
To modify them, select Custom and save again. The settings you had before choosing Custom will remain.
Basic Class Information
Class name – The name of the class.
Web order – Determines the order in which classes appear on the live score.
Visibility of Results
Hall
Controls how scores are displayed in the hall/arena during the competition.
Display final score – Shows the final score.
Show D-score – Shows the D-score.
Online
Controls how scores appear on the live score website.
Visible on the web – Makes the class visible online.
Show partial score – Displays D, E, and ND scores.
Public score – Makes the score publicly visible.
If this is not checked but the class is visible online, scores can still be viewed using the code shown at the top of the class list.
Judge Settings
Specify the number of E-judges for each apparatus.
You can also choose whether to use D-points and ND deductions.
If judging panels are used, you can assign which panel judges each apparatus. These names will be printed on the general protocol.
General Settings
Only event finals – The competition includes only event finals, no all-around.
Use tie-break in all-around – Prevents shared placements in the all-around.
Use tie-break in event finals – Prevents shared placements in event rankings.
Team competition – Preferably use Manage team competitions under Settings. Here you can assign the class to a team competition.
General
Show no ranking – No rankings are displayed in lists or on the live score. Sorting follows starting order.
Ranking empty (0 = all) – Determines how many gymnasts receive a placement.
Example: Entering 3 places gymnasts ranked 1–3; all others are placed 4th in starting order.
Vault Settings
Vault Attempts
2x Jump – Allows gymnasts to perform two vaults. If unchecked, only one vault score can be entered.
All-Around Calculation
Choose how vault scores are counted in the all-around:
1st vault in total score – Only the first vault counts.
Average in total score – The average of both vaults counts.
Best vault in total score – The higher of the two vaults counts.
Event Results
Choose how vault rankings are determined:
1st vault – Ranking based on the first vault only.
Average score – Ranking based on the average of both vaults.
Best vault – Ranking based on the best vault.
Pommel Horse Settings
2 series on Pommel Horse – Allows entering results for two series.
Scoring Settings
Total Score Calculation
FIG – Sum of all apparatus scores.
Master/Veteran rules – Best three apparatus scores (Swedish rules).
Number of counting scores (0 = all)
Specifies how many apparatus scores count toward the total.
Example: 3 means the three highest scores are counted. 0 counts all scores.
D-part score
Use D-part score input – Enables input of D-score components (DV, CR, CV, etc.).
E-Judge Calculation
3 E-judges
Average – ((E1 + E2 + E3) / 3)
Median – Middle value after removing highest and lowest.
5 E-judges
Average of 3 middle scores – Highest and lowest removed; remaining three averaged.
Average of all 5 – ((E1 + E2 + E3 + E4 + E5) / 5)
Score Input
Enable Final E-score input – Enter the final E-score directly (e.g., enter 7.4 instead of 2.6 deductions).
Use Bonus – Allows entering bonuses.
Apparatus
You can rename apparatus (leave blank to use FIG names) and choose which apparatus are used.
Useful for competitions with fewer apparatus (e.g., only floor and vault).
You can also add an extra apparatus.
Individual Input Settings
These settings support individual judge input, especially for D-score calculation.
Use D-score calculation – Enables D-score support.
Number of exercises – Maximum number of D-elements.
Exercise value X – Set the value for each exercise.
